While the article has appeal to single source solutions for HVAC and plumbing the broader notion of BIM is to include and hold high the stucture's gemotery so all trades can be united in knowing the data hasn't changed and if it has, they have the updated version. So in my view, a conversersion about "Post BIM design data" needs to come forward and how that crical data can be applied directly to the on-site production. My direct question, is there something better that blueprints, have they seen their day... while still important thier can be improvements by tapping into the gemotery and creating a layover template to drive on-site production...where do we find such simple lodgic in construction today?
