Attempting to draw a connection between the critical need to modernize and the need for skilled labor to the much less critical idea of interoperability of vendors who wil NEVER cooperate is a stretch at best. I guess when you charge the vendors exhorbatant fees to manipulate their market standings, you are obliged to carry out the promotion of rediculous parllel schemes such as this.
