Graphisoft to Host Virtual Construction Conference

Event Will Focus On Technologies Vital to the Construction Industry

WHO: Presenters Include: Dominic Gallello, CEO of Graphisoft; Clay Freeman, Vice President of Graphisoft; Jim Bedrick, Director of Technology of Webcor; Paul Case, President of Urban Building, Inc.; Steve Dunwell, Senior Director and Head of Engineering & Construction Industries of Oracle, EMEA; and, Jonathon Widney, Vice President of Navisworks

  • Learn how companies around the world are employing Virtual Construction technologies and processes to differentiate their business, improve their processes and satisfy ever expanding owner requirements; and,

  • Discuss the most significant trends in the construction industry and how to best address these opportunities and challenges.

    Attendees will hear from Graphisoft’s Virtual Construction experts on the process and benefits of using 3D construction models for design coordination. They will also discuss the techniques of using the technology to increase profit, the use of model-based estimating throughout the various project phases, and how to use Flowline, a modified theory of project management based on Line of Balance concepts, to develop an optimized construction schedule.

    Industry veterans from companies such as Webcor, Navisworks, SRV, Oracle and Doalltech will discuss topics that include: the benefits of implementing Virtual Construction, improving site and time management, adapting the Flowline theory and identifying model conflicts.

    In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to hear about the future direction of Virtual Construction, structural engineering and fabrication, improved simulation tools, improved connectivity to ERP systems and connecting the supply chain.
