Announcing the 2010 Siemens Automation Summit

ATLANTA, May 27 — (PRNewswire) — Siemens Industry, Inc. today announced that the 2010 Automation Summit, its national user conference for industrial automation users, will take place June 8 -10, 2010 at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, N.C. The theme of this year's summit is "Driving technology and innovation together."

 

The Siemens Automation Summit is a comprehensive conference for anyone who works with Siemens integrated solutions for process and factory automation.  It is designed to bring together members of the Siemens user community, Siemens employees, and anyone interested in Siemens automation technology. The conference helps attendees develop optimum strategies for successful lifecycle management of their systems.

Furthermore, to provide users with exposure to the broader scope of the Siemens Industry, Inc. portfolio, including its industry solutions and building and water technologies, the 2010 Automation Summit will be held in conjunction with the Siemens Answers for Industry conference scheduled June 8-9, 2010, at the Charlotte Convention Center. As a result, summit attendees will be able to customize their own agenda from more than 70 breakout sessions, including:

  • Product roadmaps where the latest Siemens technology will be presented by product management on process automation, factory automation and motion control and drives
  • Case studies presented by customers and solution partners
  • Best practices presented by independent industry experts
  • Feedback forums where members of the user community can provide feedback on Siemens products, solutions, and services

 

In addition to seminars, the conference will feature networking, best practice sharing and the Siemens solutions showcase, a 12,000-square-foot technology exhibit where attendees can experience the latest in Siemens products, systems and solutions in an informal, hands-on environment.  Siemens technology experts, partners, distributors and senior executives will also be on hand to discuss deploying Siemens solutions for specific business applications.
