CLO showcases the future of online shopping through ‘AR Smart Mirror’, using CLO’s virtual fitting solution BeneFit-by-CLO

CES 2019, the world’s largest tradeshow for consumer technology, took place on January 8 -11, in Las Vegas, inviting more than 4,500 companies from 150 countries.
‘AR Smart Mirror’ made its debut at LG’s sprawling booth built with the theme "Innovation for a Better Life.” Throughout the three-day exhibition, LG booth was bustling with attendees and visitors trying out the new virtual fitting solution.
AR Smart Mirror integrates CLO Virtual Fashion’s 3D avatar creation and virtual fitting API ‘BeneFit-by-CLO’ ( https://benefitbyclo.com) with LG’s touch screen signage and automatic body scanning technology using 3D camera. Consumers can now have their body scanned automatically, and virtually try on clothing on the Smart Mirror interface without getting undressed. Once the consumer’s body data is extracted from body scanning, a customized avatar is created in real time by AI. Based on the body data of the user’s avatar, AR Smart Mirror recommends the right sizing for clothes created in 3D, and users can accurately check fit by looking at the fit maps in real time. AR Smart Mirror’s offerings not just ends in size and fit suggestions; users can seamlessly move on to purchasing the clothes online directly on AR Smart Mirror.
