The Schneider Corporation Acquires qPublic

Jun 4, 2014 -- The SCHNEIDER CORPORATION - The Schneider Corporation and qPublic today announced the acquisition of qPublic, a leading real estate web portal provider in the local government market, by The Schneider Corporation.  The acquisition creates ones of largest organizations of its kind in the US.  It also expands Schneider more significantly in the Southeast part of the country and adds a new office in Florida.

The qPublic team, brand, and clients will be incorporated in Schneider’s E-Government and Technology division, and will operate as an integrated business serving over 500 local government clients in 28 states.

The popular qPublic web portals and recently launched IDAM™ (Integrated Damage Assessment Model) tool will become part of Schneider’s growing e-government suite of solutions that includes Beacon™, Permitting™, Agland™, Draincalc™, Fleet™, Geogear™, and Ripple™.

“We are excited to welcome the qPublic clients and team to Schneider” says Jeff Corns, Executive Vice President of Schneider, “With complementary cultures and a shared vision, the new integrated team will continue to provide our clients incredible innovation and customer service.”

In addition to the staff, two of the qPublic owners will also join the Schneider team.

“This allows for continued growth for qPublic’s clients and staff” says Steve Lehr, qPublic President, “By combining two of the leading brands in the industry, the possibilities are dramatic.”

The company will retain the qPublic office in Florida, adding to offices in North Carolina, Indiana, and Iowa.
