IronCAD Sponsors GYSTC Teacher Recognition

IronCAD inspires students to appreciate science, math and engineering

ATLANTA GA, May 4th 2015 - IronCAD, a leading provider of design productivity solutions, announced their key sponsorship of the GYSTC Georgia Youth Science and Technology Center Program. IronCAD along with other Fortune 500 companies such as Georgia Pacific, AT&T, Georgia Power, IBM and Lockheed Martin are proud to contribute to Georgia education.

IronCAD has donated their flagship product to over 70 public schools in 30 plus counties in Georgia, many in rural and underserved areas. The goal is to inspire students to appreciate STEM subjects and pursue future higher education or career opportunities in engineering. IronCAD introduces students to the use of mechanical 3D design in real world applications.

IronCAD is being recognized for its contribution in education and is one of the guest speaker at the closing ceremony among other distinguished guests such as Dr. Bud Peterson, President of Georgia Institute of Technology, Chancellor Henry Huckaby, University System of Georgia, President Daniel Papp, Kennesaw State University and other community leaders.

GYSTC has been working with teachers in the FY 2015 GYSTC STEM Teacher Academy since August 2014.
