Presentations and demonstrations highlight innovative customer and ecosystem products

Through a series of demonstrations and presentations, Xilinx with its customers and ecosystem will highlight ARM® processor-based Zynq® All Programmable SoCs. Xilinx's continued collaboration with ARM is integral to the rapid design and implementation of smarter systems in a very broad set of applications, including smarter networks, vision based systems, factories, energy, and data centers. Xilinx Customer and Ecosystem Demonstrations – Booth #612

  • NI System on Module – Presented by NI
    Demonstration will showcase the Airbus Smart Tools concept for their Factory of the Future using the NI System on Module (SOM). The NI SOM, based on the Zynq All Programmable SoC, ships with a complete, validated middleware solution and Linux real-time OS, minimizing design time and cutting Airbus' development efforts by an estimated factor of 10.
  • Integrated Media Processing Platform – Presented by Cloudium
    Demonstration will showcase how the Integrated Media Processing Platform combined with the Zynq All Programmable SoC enables high performance, secure processing with PC-quality experience over the cloud.
  • Zynq SoC Medical Platform – Presented by Topic
    Demonstration will showcase how the Dyplo Runtime OS Extension with the Zynq All Programmable SoC provides lower risk software defined application development and greater system level performance with less power.
  • IC CAM for Personal Identity Recognition – Presented by Cornerstone
    Demonstration will showcase how the Smart Biometric Solution integrated with the Zynq All Programmable SoC enables real-time eye tracking and high speed video pattern recognition.
  • Real-Time Object Recognition and Reconstruction – Presented by VanGogh Imaging
    Demonstration will showcase how VanGogh's computer vision technology can be incorporated into any application as a plug-and-play module. The Starry Night middleware, which runs on the Zynq-7020 All Programmable SoC, is used for real-time object recognition and reconstruction.

Carl Cao, Wireless Systems Architect at Xilinx, will present hardware and software architectures that can be exploited to implement the radio, backhaul modem, and advanced packet processing. Case studies on hardware support, software architecture, and SW/IP functional partitioning will also be provided.
