New CAD Design Presentation Tool Available; Eagle Point Releases ColorFast

January 18 – Eagle Point Software Corporation announced the release of ColorFast, an innovative and affordable software program aimed to speed artistic rendering for CAD designs.

ColorFast was designed and developed to reduce cost associated with coloring CAD drawings by hand. With ColorFast, design professionals can apply multiple color, border, shading, and display order options to their designs, and render them in seconds. If a client wants to see other display options, ColorFast can easily modify the view and quickly render it again for presentation.

CAD drawings are often the basis of presentation materials for the client and/or public approval of a project. These drawings are usually design-oriented and must be "dressed up'' to properly illustrate the project to non-technical reviewers. Hand-coloring is time consuming and expensive, especially considering that changes are undoubtedly going to be made to the drawings.
