Latest Version of SupportModeler for PDS Now Available

March 26 – The new SupportModeler for PDS allows comprehensive modeling of pipe supports for plant design projects using a flexible interface that can match your company standards and procedures. SupportModeler for PDS lets users of Intergraph PDS software exploit the power and flexibility of PlantSpace SupportModeler with their existing PDS-based projects.

Other new features included in this release:

• Lisega library, developed in partnership with Lisega GmbH.
• A LICAD interface, which allows you to place support configurations that are defined in Lisega's LICAD program
• Automatic dimensions on fabrication drawings, for standard and custom supports
• Sanitary pipe support library in partnership with Tri-Clover, Behringer and Waukesha Cherry-Burrell
• New Australian Steel and British Steel structural libraries
• "Smart" Design Review DRV Files automatically generated

Two new libraries, from Pipe Supports Limited (PSL) of the UK and Binder Engineering of Australia, join the ever-increasing set included with SupportModeler..

Also available for use with this release is a new product, SupportManager, a batch services system for use with SupportModeler. Batch processing enables users to select several models, areas or the entire project and submit a batch job to run each weekday evening that will run Update PDS, or plot all the drawings.
